We have been asked to find Dem-NPL election judges for the Early Voting Precincts that will be held prior to this year’s Primary Election in June.
There will be three Early Voting sites in Cass County. One will be at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fargo, one at the Lodoen Kindergarten Center in West Fargo, and the third at the Days Inn in Casselton. Judges should be residents of Cass County, but they don’t need to live in the actual city where they will be working.
The Fargo & West Fargo sites will be open from Monday, June 4th through Friday, June 8th, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm each day. The Casselton site will be open Wednesday, June 6th through Friday June 8th, also from 10:00 am-7:00 pm. Judges are expected to work all of the days that their precinct is open.
Election workers will be paid $7.25/hour if they do not attend the election school & $9.06/hour if they do attend the school. Judges will be paid to attend this training which typically lasts 2 hours. The Auditor’s office will send all judges a letter outlining election school dates, times and locations.
If you would like to work as one of these judges, or have any questions, please Carol Sawicki at csawicki@corpcomm.net. If you are interested in working at your local precinct on the Primary Election Day, June 12th, you should contact your District chair. It is certainly possible to work at both Early Voting and on Election Day if you would like.
