Fargo Artist to Keynote Cass County Dem-NPL Reorg Jan. 15

FARGO — The Cass County Democratic-NPL Party announces local artist Anna Johnson will keynote the Cass County Democratic-NPL Reorganization meetings on January 15, at 10 a.m. CST.

The meetings follow the 2020 Census and subsequent redistricting, which resulted in new district lines across Cass County, and one entirely new district in the area, District 10. The meetings include reorganization for Dem-NPL districts in 10, 13, 16, 21, 22, 27, 41, 44, 45, and 46.

Cass County Democratic-NPL District 11 will hold both district reorganization and district convention on Saturday, February 19, 2022. Time and location to be announced.

Anna Johnson said:

“I’m moved to make a difference about social injustice, religion and spirituality, and other issues that Native Americans, women, and people everywhere face on a daily basis. Like I do with my artwork, speaking at this event is an opportunity to bridge the gap between the world I live in and the culture I came from.”

Cass County Democratic-NPL Chairwoman Tibby Reas Hinderlie said:

“This level of reorganization only takes place once a decade, so right now is a unique time to get involved, and we’re excited to welcome new voices. At our Cass County Dem-NPL District Reorganization Meetings on the 15th, you’ll have the chance to meet fellow progressives within your new legislative lines, hear from our inspiring keynote speaker Anna Johnson, and help elect district leadership.”

How to register:

Reorganization will be held virtually via Zoom. Registration is free and required as the event is being held virtually and can be made at https://secure.actblue.com/donate/cass2022reorg.
